Who's Riding This Weekend??

475 Views 34 Replies 18 Participants Last post by  lucan(thewolfboy)
With Old Man Winter settled in and with prospects of a long cold, depressing hibernation for Two Wheeled Mayhem across most of the country, who's planning on riding this weekend? It's looking like low 60's and sunny for both day's in the western "foothills"(clean twisty roads!) of the Carolina's area and three of us got our bikes ready for an all day "Epic Loop" tommorrow!:draggin Who else is riding. Let's hear about your plans, etc. It's too nice to spend another day couped up inside on the internet reading about anything other than riding motorcycles!!:giddy

lol no...I don't want anyone to be depressed like I am...I am beginning to think riding is like therapy:confused I don't recall being "down" during winter before I started riding....3 more months to go:p
Supposed to rain tomorrow but clear up Sunday. I'll probably go out for a 200 miler if the temp stays at 60 or above. I don't have any cold weather gear so 60 is my limit.

Don't you guys have a ton of snow still? If so, ride safe.

I rode about 15 miles today. Enough to get my fix.

it's been mostly raining the past few days... not a lot of the 58 inches we had left. :shrug
I would pay to ride this weekend. I haven't ridden all week. But thankfully, I still have three more solid months of Florida winter. :nanana
RE: rainy weekend

I would like to but... weather reports are:
Heavy rain and flash floods all weekend.

+1 Winter bothers me a lot more than it used to. I hate not being able to jump on the bike whenever I want to get my 'therapy'. :shake
Nope not this weekend I have to work but, I'm off all next week so I'll make up for the missed weekend next week weather permitting.
havent rode in weeks, looks like it will be a couple more months:rant
I plan on going out with some other LI guys tomorrow, plus I may take a short nap and head out this afternoon.

same here, I don't ride every weekend but this weekend has been warm and so was last. and the weekend before that was around 40, so that's riding weather. have to take advantage of that when you live in Illinois.
