Hi everybody. I live in VA Beach and so far it hasn't gotten *real* cold down here, but cold enough that my summer light leather gloves don't keep my hands very warm. Yesterday it was 60 degrees and my hands were freezing, which surprised me! :laughing

Which winter gloves would you recommend? I don't want the really heavy ones, because I have some of those already and they're so heavy I lose the sensation with the throttle/clutch that I like. Are there out there that aren't so thick that you can still feel your controls?

I mostly need them for 40-60-degree riding. I have electrics if it gets colder and I feel adventurous! ;)

Thanks in advance! :thumb

40-60?? :laughing That's not cold! That's just about right ;)

My "winter" gloves are ladies Olympia (no armor, just leather), lined w/ *crap-i-JUST-forgot-what-its-called* Normal warm glove stuff.. therma-something? BE SURE you have glove liners.... your hands will sweat even when they're cold... i've got some very thin thermasilk glove liners that are wonderful. They go well under my regular leather gloves too for borderline weather/wind. They make a big difference.

Olympia gloves I got for ~$45, glove liners... ~$10-12 at an outdoor type store (Galyans here)

You're right! I'd rather ride in cooler weather than hot any day, but my hands get colder than the rest of me. Strange, but true! :shrug

Thanks for the suggestions! :thumb
