Ever wonder how to get ride of MSN messenger? You'll notice that there is no means to remove it, short of deleting the entire folder, which of course you can do, but then you get messages that you shouldn't remove it....

Anywhoo...thought I would help.

Click start, then run, and in the box paste this info, minus the quotes -

"RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove"

Press enter. MSN messenger on XP is gone.

Then insert the Windows 2000 Pro install disk........ :D

How bout just skip the microcrap all together and pop in a Red Hat Linux disk so you can pick and choose ALL the annoying unused apps you WANT installed.
