Just got my forks back from Traxxion (though I already added 'em to my .sig! :laughing )

Re-sprung, re-valved, re-surfaced the pistons, new oil, new seals, setup for my fat ass, and of course, the stickers. :D

Because I'm lazy and don't wanna resize these, ya gotta click on the links :)

Scrap...

FULL rebuild like that on the TLS ran me $495 + $20 for shipping it to Traxxion. Took them exactly a week to get them and get them back to me...

Oh yah, and after playing with them on the bike tonight (she started tonight!) I can say that they are SO far beyond stock that there is no comparison. Worth every penny.

First ride review of the forks...

I haven't gotten the rear Penske on, so I'm totally running the setup that Traxxion provided and I've got my rear preload maxed.

Front tire is glued to the road. Bumps, potholes, it doesn't care. They all disappear into the smooth glass that is my rebuilt forks. Meanwhile, the back end shimmies and bounces like there's no tomorrow. Just goes to show what you can get used too.

I still maintain the stock suspenders are adequate for street use, but MAN, that was the best $495 I've spent on the bike in a long, long time.

Can't wait to get the rear shock on so I can really see what it's like. :redflip
