Question on jacket

I just stopped by my local shop to pick up a pair of gloves, and while I was there I went ahead and tried on the Joe Rocket Blaster leather preforated jacket. It was a size 50, which fit good along the arms, chest, and waist. the only exception is it didn't feel long enough. I am used to wearing just casual jackets which go to my pockets, so I am not sure what the length should be like on a motorcycle jacket. It came down to my belt line, but just felt to short. Should I go bigger although everywhere else fit fine, or is this the way jackets are made? BTW I am 6'5" at 230.

that's where they ususally go. the reason for this is that they alson tend to have the ability to zip to a pair of pants to make a suit. not sure about the balistic, but that sounds like a normal cut for a sport bread motorcycle jacket.
